Affinity is a boutique residential development, completed as part of a final stage of Eden Rise Estate in Berwick.
Providing an alternative to traditional house and land offerings prevalent in the area at the time, this community pioneered ‘resort-style living’ with a masterplan of 142 contemporary freehold title residences. Each residence formed part of a striking architecturally designed and themed streetscape whilst still providing a wide range of facades, colour palettes and elevations to present as a ‘conventional’ estate, providing every home with its own personality. Zero-lot design maximised the building envelope and enabled the required density to be achieved, guaranteeing solar access, privacy, usable outdoor space and the benefits of indoor-outdoor living.
Of immense appeal to discerning downsizers, Affinity provided its residents with a low-maintenance opportunity and access to facilities such as an exclusive Residents Club, which included a gym, club bar, lap pool, spa, tennis court and party pavilion with BBQ facilities.
Affinity’s unique and innovative design challenged the traditional style of medium density housing on offer at the time and was recognised by the UDIA as winner of the Residential Development of 250 lots or fewer.
